Medical Office Brokers was started in 2006 with a mission to “stand alongside healthcare providers as their advocates in commercial real estate…” Based on the accomplishment of this mission, MOB has been recognized by the Maricopa County Medical Society, the Arizona Dental Association and the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association as the preferred commercial real estate firm for its members. MOB exclusively represents Tenants and Buyers in the healthcare industry.
As a native Phoenician and son of a local doctor, Aaron Kuhl has been around the real estate and health care industries since childhood. After graduating from Brophy College Preparatory in 1992 and the University of Arizona with a degree in Regional Development in 1996, Aaron began his real estate career with the prestigious firm DMB Associates as a property manager and leasing agent. In his first year in the industry, he achieved a +90% occupancy rate in all of his buildings and began learning commercial real estate from the best in the business. When DMB decided to focus almost exclusively on master planned communities, Aaron delivered his newfound knowledge and experiences to an under-served population at Community Services of Arizona by starting an in-house property management and leasing division. Based on Chandler, CSA is the largest non-profit housing provider in Arizona. Net operating income was increased by 41% in the first year of operations and the standard of living was greatly increased for the residents. Next, Aaron became the Designated Broker and ultimately the Director of Marketing for Marriott’s Canyon Villas at Desert Ridge. In five years with Marriott, Aaron and a small start up team built a sales and marketing organization with more than 75 full time staff and his team was responsible for exceeding corporate projections on an ongoing basis.
Aaron has been married to Katie for 9 years and they have two children (K & 1st Grade). Aaron is a licensed (but inactive) private pilot, Cardinal fan, periodic golfer, mountain biker, traveler (17+ countries) and enjoys creating memories with his family at Forest Home Family Camp. He enjoys the life balance of spending time with his children as a classroom “snack helper”, being a T-ball coach and most importantly, learning how to be a better husband at Life Partners. A goal for Summer 2010 is to swim the frigid waters from Alcatraz to San Francisco.
